We keep the river clean and the banks green throughout the year, but we like to dedicate time to doing a major spring clean-up, it’s our way of giving back to this wonderful resource. Two volunteers cleaning-up the Delaware River banks Be Part of Something Bigįor the past 32 years Kittatinny has sponsored this 70-mile river clean-up effort, the only one of its kind, to demonstrate our commitment to preserving the beauty of the free flowing Delaware River. Volunteers should plan to bring a lunch and snacks, plenty of drinking water, sunscreen, work gloves, a hat, and sturdy shoes that can get wet. Volunteer one day for up to two nights, or volunteer both days to get up to three free nights of camping along the Delaware River! Kittatinny Canoes will also provide breakfast and dinner to all volunteers, as well as canoes, life jackets, and trash bags for clean-up and transportation to and from clean-up sites. ![]() Volunteers can enjoy FREE camping at K-Camp or River Beach for participating in our river clean-up.
